The Original Canadian 80’s Pop-Rock Band

Formed in 1982, The Box quickly rose to the top of the charts and remained there for over a decade. With 4 Félix Awards and 4 Gold and Platinum-certified albums, the band officially disbanded in 1992. However, ongoing demand from the industry eventually convinced frontman Jean Marc Pisapia to bring the group back to life with a brand-new lineup — and new material to match.
Since then, The Box has released three additional albums in 2005, 2009 and 2014, followed by an EP in 2018, while continuing to tour extensively across Québec and Canada, performing in concert halls, theatres and major festivals.

Available as a 90-minute performance or in two 45-minute sets, The Box takes audiences on a musical journey that begins with the band's more recent material before building into the iconic hits that defined the '80s and '90s. From the very first notes, audiences of all-ages are hooked—and the energy never lets up until the final song.
More than 40 years after its debut, The Box, the original Canadian band, is still going strong. Designed for both theatres and festivals, this show appeals to audiences of all generations. Backed by an enduring artistic legacy and an electrifying stage presence, The Box continues to have audiences singing, cheering and celebrating night after night.
